Really learned so much from this course. Perspective especially has always been something I struggle with and really appreciated the extra effort Alex put in to creating extra content to expand on this. Also enjoyed the introduction and getting lost in the idea of living near little cafes in Paris. Really well done and I will dip in and out of bits of this many times in future as a toolbox to grow my skill

The practice of vanishing points is more clear to me now. The simple way it was introduced helped me find some confidence in progressing with my “seeing” things with vanishing points in mind. Overall, I’m learning new things and putting them into practice. I can’t ask for more… well, I do struggle with the technology a bit. I can’t seem to move on from lessons easily.

I have been painting for 20 years..this course helped me concentrate on sketching..back to my roots and gave me great ideas and hints. He is wonderful! And an extremely good teacher..thanks…

It is a great course that teaches a very different approach in applying watercolors onto your sketches. I learnt about dimensions and perspectives, as well as a more dynamic approach in painting. Highly recommended!

This was a very well done introductory course. Alex has a great approach to teaching and his drawing/painting style aligns with my own aspirations so I found that inspirational.

I'd like to see Alex teach a follow-up course, perhaps exploring more deeply the techniques he shared here, or bringing in additional techniques that push our understanding of the medium.

I enjoyed this course although it wasn’t what I thought it would be. There was a lot of content and I learned things I didn’t know before, but I was hoping it would have more info on different forms of architectural drawing beyond the quick fast drawing style. With that being said, I would still take another course from this instructor.

Excellent cours! Un artiste talentueux qui sait communiquer ses techniques. Il faut suivre le cours plus d'une fois (la partie où il place son lavis et ses couleurs) pour saisir toutes les subtilités de son art et de ses techniques. Le résultat final est... WOW. C'est très stimulant car l'envie de faire quelque chose de semblable nous incite à se mettre à l'oeuvre.

The course is easy to understand, and the teacher share all her skills and secrets. Very helpful to learn how having your unique style.

I found this course very informative and right to the point since the introduction. Alex shared many useful information to get the foundation of a good painting right from the first sketch. I truly enjoyed the course and glad to have lifetime access and can refresh my memory when I need to. Thanks a lot Alex. your course definitely helped me and my next paintings are going to be better improved considering your tips about perspective and composition and etc.

I found this course both interesting and helpful. It gave me a lot of tips and tricks to help improve my painting especially the layout of the drawing at the beginning. Thanks Alex for sharing your way of drawing and painting. No doubt that I will go back through the course again and glean information I missed the first time round. What better city to paint in. We loved it both times visited Paris.
