About the video: Mixing with vinyls
Overview
“We will take some vinyl and we will mix them using two turntables, the pitch, a pair of headphones and a mixer. I will be using 2 Technics 1200 (or Vestax) turntables and a mixer (with the DJM 800 enough and plenty).”
In this video lesson Chuck Pereda addresses the topic: Mixing with vinyls, which is part of the Domestika online course: Electronic Music Mixing: From Beginner to DJ. Learn the basics to mix physical and digital formats to create your first DJ set.

“Mixing with vinyls This lesson is very exciting. They will learn the architecture of what mixing is like. They will see that I am putting some songs and audibly hear how I move forward and back on the other side the disk. It is on purpose so that you can see what is going on in the headphones. Since we don't have a way for them to hear in the headphones what I'm hearing, in the headphones you can hear what you're hearing before "fade in". We have two vinyl turntables on this side. I left a "track" on the USB so you can see its architecture already when I refer on vinyl to what is happening....”
