Logo Design: From Concept to Presentation

Perfect in every way!

Before taking this course I was familiar with design elements and principles but was unsure of how I should put them in action. I thought that logos needed to convey what companies are about or what they do. However, after going through the course (and the steps of recreating a logo) I have a greater understanding that simplicity and abstraction work in favor of a company's identity in the long term; and that logos don't need to demonstrate what a company does in order to be effective.

Not an extensive technical course, but as a designer within another area of design it was very good at helping supplement my knowledge of the area of logo design and providing examples of the design process. It's the little, simple nuances of information to summarise certain approaches that I found most memorable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and took extensive notes while going through it. Taking the student through the process of complex, illustrative techniques to simplification and why simplicity is often the best and often the longest lasting decision cannot be overstated. One cannot express enough times an appreciation for the expertise and time Mr. Haviv shares with the viewer. I will be rewatching this course several times. ;0)

La didáctica del curso es buena y los contenidos de gran interés pero si tienes nociones básicas en fundamentos del diseño o estás formándote oficialmente en diseño gráfico, el contenido es algo escaso.

El curso es muy recomendable para comenzar desde cero con buenas anécdotas y explicaciones por parte de Sagi Haviv.

Si vous croyez que le prof va vous faire griffonner des logos ou vous exposer des stratégies de couleurs ou la psychanalyse de votre client, c'est raté !
Il s'agit d'une masterclass qui s'adresse à des débutants comme des designers avancés parce qu'il place l'approche du client et ses besoins au centre de son cours.
C'est un cours pour apprendre à réfléchir au projet avant de le réaliser. :-)
Et c'est vraiment top ! :-)

Un cours merveilleux! Déjà pour la personnalité du professeur, si agréable et humble, et en même temps si expert et pédagogique, que le contenu du cours en lui même. En plus de nous donner toutes les clés pour reconnaître un bon logo simple et efficace, de le concevoir et même de le défendre ensuite à son client, c'est une véritable nouvelle vision des choses que nous propose ce cours. Foncez-y les yeux fermés! Un des cours les plus instructif que j'ai suivis sur Domestika!

It's a narrative course for the advanced learners. It would be great, if it showed something practically in Adobe Illustrator. Anyway, it's a good course.
