About the video: Presentation
Overview
“In this class, I'm going to talk a little about who I am, my career and how I reinvented a career to become an independent illustrator. Since I was little I like to draw. At school, I was the one who lost focus on science classes because I was so busy with my drawings. Years later, I studied graphic design at the University of Brasília (UnB). Also during college, I worked at several advertising agencies as an art director. In this career, I stayed for 13 years, working in large agencies in Brazil and, finally, in one of the most awarded agencies in the world, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, in the United States. I've been on an independent journey for four years now, working from home, on my own. I do projects for clients from all over the world: Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, England, Holland, USA and also for Brazil. My focus is mainly on illustration for the advertising market. I established my own style, as if I were a hybrid of designer, illustrator and artist. This makes clients come to me not so that I can follow their identity, but to do something special for them using exactly my style. ”
