Basic guide to understand each part of a letter. Typography is present in almost everything we see: books, websites, apps, posters, packaging, brand identities and social networks. However, although we live with letters constantly, we rarely stop to observe how they are constructed. Understanding the structure of a letter may seem like a subject reserved for specialized designers, but in reality it is useful knowledge for anyone working with visual communication.
