Carla Pereira

My name is Carla, and I was born and raised in Portugal. Growing up, I always had a passion for the arts, particularly cinema and TV. When it was time for me to pursue some kind of education, I decided to attend ETIC_Algarve to study Cinema and TV for two years.

I was fortunate enough to land an internship in a local production company, where I assisted the camera department. During that time I had the opportunity to learn directly from the director of photography who gave me the opportunity to operate the camera and learn more about lighting. It was a dream come true to work with such talented individuals in the industry.

Determined to explore different facets of the industry, I decided to further deepen my understanding of the Art Department on my own. It was here that I discovered a new passion for set design and prop making.
As a person who loves to create, I enjoy designing and creating models and props, which can add an extra layer of visual interest to video productions. I am skilled in working with a variety of materials and tools, and I am able to bring my clients' visions to life in a way that is both accurate and imaginative.

It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me in the film industry.
