Bright Chase

I am a composer and illustrator, making pictures in images and music. The LA Times describes my music as "The Rite of Spring meets Metallica!" My performances integrate visuals with music and inspired LA Weekly to call me an "Eye/Ear Explorer." My work has been been showcased on Other Minds radio, featured on KMHT Television in New York, on Salve Television, Germany and has been noted by Strad and Double Bassist magazines, and seen in the Whitney Biennial, among other places and contexts. I like to combine unlikely elements to illustrate whimsey and a little fantasy, and to reveal to the viewer and listener how all the pieces of the world come together to create an immense and fantastic picture.
