Papercutting artist and magical storyteller Karishma Chugani shows you the best way to cut out a chain of paper dolls
Karishma Chugani (@karishma.chugani) is an illustrator, writer and designer. Fascinated by the art of storytelling , she mainly uses papercutting to illustrate her tales.
This wonderful artist researches and recreates ancient storytelling techniques, like shadow puppets, pop-up theater books and story boxes. She has taken part in numerous projects, including the special edition of Le Chocolat des Français x Instagram (2018), which was launched to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Her published works include: This Body is Human (2015) or the pop-up theater book: To Night and Back (2015). She teaches creative workshops for children, teachers and illustrators in her mobile school: L’École de Paper.
