10 Tarantino's must-see movies

Immerse yourself in the cinematic world of Quentin Tarantino with this list of his 10 must-see films
What better way to celebrate the birthday of the great master of cinema Quentin Tarantino than by watching some of his films? The American director and producer turns 61 today and we want to commemorate it by giving you 10 ideas of films that you absolutely have to see sometime in your life. Get the popcorn ready and enjoy!
Pulp Fiction (1994)

We begin our journey with what for many is the big star, Pulp Fiction, an explosion of style and violence. With an interwoven plot that defies temporal logic, we follow a pair of thugs, a retired boxer, a femme fatale and a pair of petty thieves through Los Angeles as they become entangled in increasingly outlandish situations.
Reservoir Dogs (1992)

We jump back in time to dive into the criminal minds of Reservoir Dogs. A gang of professional thieves gets caught in a double-cross during a robbery gone wrong. With a stellar cast and a non-linear narrative, Tarantino takes us down a path full of suspense and intense dialogue.
Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) and Volume 2 (2004)

Hold on tight because here comes a revenge like no other! The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, awakens from a coma with only one thought in mind: to kill Bill and all those who betrayed her. With an explosive mix of martial arts, gushing gore and a visual style that will leave your mouth agape, this two-volume epic is an ode to samurai and spaghetti western cinema.
Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Tarantino takes us back to World War II, but with a twist never before seen in cinema (and there are movies with this theme). A group of American Jewish soldiers led by the formidable Lieutenant Aldo Raine (played by Brad Pitt) embark on a suicide mission to kill Nazis. With sharp dialogue, moments of palpable tension and a memorable performance by Christoph Waltz as the fearsome Hans Landa, this film is a tribute to the fantasy of historical justice. Without a doubt, my full recommendation if you haven't seen them yet.
Django Unchained (2012)

In keeping with the totally justified revenge, get ready for an odyssey of redress and freedom in the American slave South. Django, played masterfully by Jamie Foxx, teams up with a German bounty hunter (brought to life by Christoph Waltz) in search of his wife, who is under the thrall of a ruthless landowner. With a mix of action, dark humor and biting social analysis, Tarantino unfolds his unique vision of this stage in human history.
The Hateful Eight (2015)

A relentless snowfall, a remote cabin and a group of strangers with dark secrets. In The Hateful Eight, Tarantino takes us into a world of paranoia and violence when a seemingly innocent meeting turns into a deadly showdown. With razor-sharp dialogue and tension indescribable in words, this thriller will keep your eyes rolling.
Jackie Brown (1997)

A stewardess caught between the police and a drug dealer. In Jackie Brown, Tarantino gives us 154 minutes of intrigue, romance and betrayal. With a nostalgic soundtrack and characters as complex as they are fascinating, this film is a tribute to 70's film noir that will grab you from the very first moment.
Once upon a time in... Hollywood (2019)

We travel back to the golden age of Hollywood with this feature film featuring two main characters, one played by Leonardo DiCaprio as a TV star in decline and the other by Brad Pitt as his stunt double. Tarantino immerses you in the glamour and decadence of the film industry as he takes you on a journey full of nostalgia and violence, with an ending that will leave you breathless.
Death Proof (2007)

Get ready for a mix of action and horror. In this ode to 70's exploitation cinema, a psychopath with a death-proof car stalks a group of girls on a wild night of partying and revenge. With high-octane chase sequences and a retro feel, this film is a love letter to genre films and the strong women who star in them.
True Romance (1993)

And we close our tour with True Romance, an explosion of love and violence. Written by Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott, this movie will take you through an unlikely love story between a comic book geek guy and a prostitute. With a plot filled with drugs, gangsters and hit men, this movie is a wild ride that will leave you with your heart in your mouth.
So there you have it, a quick tour of Quentin Tarantino's mind-blowing cinematic universe. Whatever you're looking for, Tarantino is always a wise choice.
