Learn how to choose your color selection palette with our free guide.

The Creator
As an award winning author/illustrator, Mark Hoffmann (@studiohoffmann) works on "goofy books with goofy looks". From the language used and concepts utilized in this quote alone, some might've already surmised that he specializes in illustrating picture books for children. But his love for colors might run even deeper. This is how his devotion has been described:
He would eat colors if he could. Mustard yellow looks especially tempting even though he doesn’t like mustard. In the meantime he makes them the star of his work.

A Short Preview
In this free download, Mark will show us his solutions to color selecting, in great detail: You will learn all about his "RYBDLF" method, the proper way to come up with secondary colors based on the primary ones we all know about: RED, YELLOW, BLUE in their different darker or brighter variations.
Your palate can feel cohesive, colors just have to follow a certain relation with each other. This way your illustrations and designs will appear more organic. That's also the reason why another popular method is acquiring your tones and hues from nature. But what if you don't have that reference, or rather wouldn't like to always depend on it...
Although you do depend on nature technically since I assume a human being is reading this...! Anyways, I'm no prejudiced or close minded individual so if unbeknownst to me, I'm actually addressing a robot or an unknown entity that is looking to pick out some cute colors to decor their room or "space" or "antimatter", you are equally welcomed to download our free guide:
