To share with you her passion and her taste for this particular material, Beatriz has prepared a tutorial with which you will learn how to create your own "charm" quickly and easily. Enjoy it in the video below!
MATERIALS
-Wax cord in two colors (thickness: 0.5cm x length: 1.30 m)
- Measuring tape
- Zeal
- Golden carabiner
- Scissors
- Contact glue

1. Cut and finish the laces
The first thing you should know is that the silk cord is always finished with tape, so that it does not fray when cut. So, once you have the cord measurement calculated, place the tape and cut right in the middle of it.
2. Join the laces
Put both pieces of cord together and locate the exact center. Fold them and join them by making a simple knot around both ends. Once you have everything secured, separate the two cords from the center so that they are the axis of the work, and around which you will weave the crosses that will form the "charm".

3. How to knit the crosses
Start with the right end. Take it and pass it under the shaft (the two central cords), and then under the right end. Then, pull to close the knot. Now, repeat the process with the left end, and do the cycle again 6 times for each color.

4. Ways to finish
Once you have the 6 knots of each color ready, what follows is to finish off the ornament. The natural way to do it is with a simple knot formed with the two long strands. Finally, you must even out the cords by cutting the two long strands at the height of the short ones. Remember to place the tape first!
Now that you have finished the project, it remains to decide how to finish the bottom cords. Beatriz teaches you two ways: the first consists of lowering the ends of the tape, leaving it at half a centimeter, and then tying a knot that you will push all the way down. The second is to make fringes by removing the tape and hitting the cords against your hand to fray them.

Finally, attach the carabiner to the top, and you're done! Your handmade charm is finished.
