You don’t need to believe in ghosts or have professional gear—you just need to understand how light, motion, and time interact within an image. What You Need to Photograph Ghosts The equipment is simpler than it seems. Here are the recommended items: • A camera with a manual mode, or a smartphone with exposure control. • A tripod or a stable surface. • A remote shutter release or the camera’s self-timer. • Dim light: a flashlight, a lamp, or a safe candle. • A dimly lit space. • Light-colored clothing, translucent fabric, or moving objects. • If using a smartphone, an app or mode that allows for long exposures. • Optional: Photoshop, Lightroom, or an editing app to enhance the effect.
