I do enjoy Jane's portraits but have to admit that her technique is a little too 'controlled' for me. Ultimately I think I am going to request a change of course and see if I can find something a little more 'painterly'. Personal taste of course and no reflection at all on Jane as an artist.

This course is just fantastic! I love your work Jane, I have been a huge fan on Instagram for a while now and it is so exciting to be able to take this class with you online. I haven't finished my projects yet. I have only been painting some portraits in acrylics before I took your course and now I'm so excited to see how they will look with oil. I was too scared to try in oil before.
