Great class for anyone starting out with using gouache as their preferred medium. This class will answer most of the questions asked by beginning students, from value, composition, water control, all the advantages of using gouache compared to other mediums.

I have been curious about gouache for a long time. This class answered most of my questions and showed me the benefits of using gouache. Tommy Kim has some great paintings and I understand how he works. Really got a lot out of the class and would like to see more.

Tommy Kim did a great job of demonstrating his painting techniques and explaining as he demonstrated. I would recommend taking this course. I will continue practicing his techniques and color explorations.

This is a fantastic course for anyone who wants to master Plein Air painting or gouache painting. I love his style and he’s a very good teacher.

I loved this course! Been a fan of his work for a while so it is a privilege to hear more about his inspiration and process. Feeling very inspired to start experimenting and putting
these new skills into practice.

The use of a fan brush was very inspiring, and i liked the bold decision to go with a magenta theme. Very concise and to the point.

I like the course because we are told a good part about values and how to split up the picture and how to use the contrast in colouring.

I got to explore the medium of gouache through this course. Very informative!
