Creating art is who I am, whether I write, bake, knit, paint, quilt, or garden
My paternal grandfather used to sketch the countryside and castles of his country, in Czech Republic, and my grandmothers bakes, sewed, and gardened
As a child I sketched and painted, but let it fall by the wayside as I learned other crafts
In March 2020, I picked up watercolour as a means to calm and ground myself -- a therapeutic endeavor to alleviate the stresses of being a healthcare coworker in the pandemic
I love the fluidity and expressiveness of the medium, and look forward to continuing to hone my skills
