Vicki Seddon

Hello. I’m Vicki from North Wales. I’ve always enjoyed art and sketching and first found inspiration from my art teacher (in 1960s!) who encouraged us to look closely and draw from our local environment observing details in the hedgerows for example.
I love children’s paintings too and the work of various artists. Visiting exhibitions of work by Chagall, Grayson Perry, Matisse and Barbara Hepworth has also given me inspiration. Encouraged by another course I have now developed a habit of sketching regularly using photos and a bit from memory too.
I would like to develop my sketching further, experiment with colours and work with more patience.
