Sachin Adsul

Following a formalist legacy, the artist entices a series of emotive projections in the form of drawings and collages on paper. The evocation in my works is not sentimental, perhaps transient, leading from one form to another. The forms that occur are organic in quality, at times with defined contours and usually loosely formed. The shapes appear like the contours of the objects derived from some archaeological excavations. Some animistic forms that are arranged on a plain white surface as if to make a detailed note of each.
