I love illustrations and storytelling in any medium. It can heal a world of hurt, the finding and sharing of one’s artistic voice and story. I have a BFA in Studio Art, have experience with commercial art, stain glass work, and acrylic/oils. I love color or black and white, graphics or graphic novels, cartoons and children's books are some of my favorite things. Sulamith Wulfing, Pamela Coleman Smith, Wanda Gag ("The Funny Thing" and "Millions of Cats"), MJ Cullinane, Aubrey Beardsley, Alphonse Mucha, Norman Rockwell, Patrick Woodroffe, Brian Froud, Maxfield Parrish, Maurice Sendak, Seuss, Beatrix Potter, Shel Silverstien, Mad Magazines from the 60's-70's, old linotypes drawings in old encyclopedias, drawings and designs of Frank Lloyd Wright... and now, Sveta Dorosheva.
