Introduction
Watercolor travel sketch from my recent journey through Southern Sri Lanka.
Supplies
Watercolor pans (Winsor&Newton, Van Gogh, and Schmincke), pencil HB, cruelty-free rigger and onion-shaped watercolor brushes (Raphaël and Winsor&Newton), and white gouache (Winsor&Newton).
Into the jungle
This piece captures a moment from my adventure in the Sinharaja Forest Reserve—a pristine tropical rainforest, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and World Heritage Site. One of many unforgettable experiences, surrounded by rich wildlife and guided by the incredibly knowledgeable Mr. Ruan. Grateful for the beauty and the stories this place shared with us.
