My project for course: Expressive Architectural Sketching with Colored Markers

So, here it goes!
I don't think I've entirely managed to get that "grey and imposing on the sides, lively in the middle idea", but there are hints of that. Main reason is that I fell in love with the spire and the colour of the church roof, which livened the right side a bit. My wife's suggestion was to add the umbrella to the opposite side to balance the scena a bit.

Overall, I'm happy, this was definitely the sketch I've spent most time on and put the most thought in. It was fun and even though the result is a bit different from what I had in mind, I like it a lot!
