My project in Realistic Pencil Portraiture: Capture Stories and Emotions course

Really great course. Now I understand the point of having pencils of different hardness and kneadable erasers. I had some trouble and lost patience with a few things that I felt I just couldn't get right - the mouth and the neck, in particular. But overall, I'm very happy with this as my first attempt at human portraiture.

Alan is an excellent instructor who helped me to create - well, to me anyway, magic! I look forward to practicing more of what I learned here - and maybe even diving in to his oils course (scary medium for me!).
