This job was the first one that brought me closer to the shootings when I was a director of photography in the cinema. I had to scout the locations for this photoshoot. I did some lens tests to know which one was the best for what the art director wanted. What he wanted to convey. I opted for Tamron lenses for the first time. From the moment the sets are chosen, we establish lists of equipment (for the light and the camera) which will guide the lighting and the story.

I did a lot of things on this clip with my assistant. We located and found the locations. I advised the image and the optics. I did a great casting of black women and I fought so that there is a representation. A work on hairstyles, jewelry and all the details. I really wanted to make an ode to the black woman since I had free time. We had less than 4000 euros of budget and it was a real team work and endurance. We shot everything in one day and most of the preparation was done three days before. The decorator did an incredible job. She went so far as to create entire rooms. I really like the music video or photo business because it's really about doing it at all costs! SHOW MUST GO ON !
