I am an artist who started working primarily in ink and watercolor. I pull inspiration from nature-- human and otherwise. Recurring themes include imaginary still life, the languor of cats, and metaphors about humanity and inhumanity.

Via the many helpful resources available online, I'm teaching myself how to shift from paper media to digital media. I'm very interested in book and editorial illustration because of the unique opportunity they allow artists: directly translating a text into an engaging visual experience.
