Natasha Kelly

Hello, my name is Natasha. I joined Domestika for a few reasons. First, I love art in all its forms, from drawing to pottery to writing. Anything that is creative, I love it. Secondly, I like to learn. Especially if it's something that I am passionate about. Third, I want to improve my skills in drawing. I've been drawing since I can remember. I come from a family of creative people. Many members of my family do a lot of painting. My great-grandmother did beautiful illustrations of various animals in a whimsical Disney-like style and she was my main source of inspiration and motivator to draw. My father was also a very skillful artist before he broke his wrist. He was also my worst critic. It sounds cruel but If he never gave me the constructive criticism that he did in the past my drive to improve wouldn't be what it is today. My mother isn't an artist but she never let me give up. In her own quiet way, she pushed me to work harder to keep drawing and improve my skills. All of these people cheer me on with my drawing. Now although I have all these incredibly skilled people in my bloodline, that doesn't mean I'm an amazing artist. I'm at best, adequate. Which has drawn me here. I want to get better because I love drawing.
