Adam Hayes

Hello! I'm a typographer and illustrator based in Wales with over 15 years professional experience as an independent artist. I work on a huge variety of projects for design, publishing and advertising, for clients including Apple, Facebook, Google and Honda. I love to work on a broad range of projects, from quick editorial illustrations to big international campaigns, creating designs that are new and unique each time. I love a brief!

I aim to produce work that brings my love of drawing and typography together; creating fun, concept-driven lettering which captures emotion, energy and playfulness. I often draw over-and-over again before settling on the best ideas and the most striking letter designs.

My work is extremely important to me, and I've been lucky enough to make a career out of something I find so impulsive. But when I'm not in the studio, I'm to be found hanging out with my family in the beautiful hills of Wales.
