Hello
My name is John-lee Fenton, aka Moojaa. I am a DJ, Music Producer, Graphic Designer / Artist, Record Label Owner, and I'm trying to launch merchandise around my designs. I have has some small art exhibition which I have hosted in various places on the island of Ibiza, where I have lived now for 6 years. I forfited going to art college when I left school to go to work in the Print Industry, where I began a 3 year apprenticeship as final film planner, camera operator and Plate maker. Once these processes became outdated I then had to learn graphic design, page layout and laying up jobs on Apple Mac's. This then led me down a more creative path to running my own graphic design studio and working on magazine designs and creative print work. My creative journey weaved in and out of my life in many ways be it Music Production, DJ which I have always Done since 16, and many other creative avenues.
To be honest I am in to lots of things and jump between many of them and have lots of jobs creative and not creative, but there has always been a constant thread of creation in some way.
I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and at 54 this has answered lots of questions as to reasons for the many things I have done throughout my life. I'm on a constant exploration to learn, have a go and be into everything, which has been to my detriment in some ways, and a crazy explorational journey in others. The reason for joining Domestika is becuase I want to learn to be more creative again and also to be more disciplined in what I do. This has proven to be difficult sometime with the way my nuerodivergent brain works and the fact that I'm very creative but never learnt design disciplines in the beginning. so now I'm using this platform as a way to back track and lean these things.
