Monica Devine

Hello everyone. I am a retired therapist who started working in clay 6 yrs. ago. My major influence and teacher is Debra Fritts from Abiquiu, New Mexico. I am most interested in the human form and most of my work focuses on the female archetype in conjunction with the animal world. I’m from Eagle River, Alaska, where the natural world plays a big part in all of my pieces. I would like to continue working on busts, especially using slabs as I’ve only worked with coils to date. Happy to be in such learned company.
