I was looking for knowledge & skills that will not be outdated tomorrow.
After a long career in ICT, where what I learned today, would be outdated tomorrow, I started to focus on "learning things that won't be obsolete tomorrow", after my retirement. That's how I ended up in (medieval) bookbinding; calligraphy and the illumination of books. Since 2017, following on from that, also with my old drawing and painting hobby.
My interest is in portrait and model drawing. In addition, I also have a weakness for Urban sketching, graphic techniques and sculpting. All my life creative crafts have inspired me.
