I started painting late in life after retiring from a successful but very demanding career. Finding myself suddenly with a lot of empty hours to fill I started a blog, wrote three books, opened an Etsy shop selling custom made doll clothes. All were fulfilling - for a while. It wasn’t until I discovered watercolors that I learned what true fulfillment was. Art is always a journey in learning. I’m always looking for new techniques and ideas to improve my skills.
