Lina Ekstrand

I work as a freelance illustrator and have been doing so for almost 20 years. After my degree in Visual Communication at Royal Danish Academy of fine Arts in Copenhagen I moved to London to freelance and then did an internship at vector based studio Vault 49 in New York. After living a bit here and there, in Berlin and Guadalajara for example, I'm now based since ten years in the countryside of Southern Sweden. I'm inspired my the natural art forms in nature and always become mesmerized of the perfect shapes and color combinations that never stops to amaze me. I work in pencil and ink mostly and put my work together in Photoshop. Some of my selected clients are Rörstrand, ELLE magazine, Mykita eyewear, IKEA, Wallpaper and Knorr.
