Hello, I am an interior designer and wildlife photographer. I have always loved to draw and do all kinds. of art through the years. About 10 years ago I picked up a camera and took a photo of an owl, and I was addicted. I always thought I could use my photography as inspiration for my drawing. I draw realistically and architecturally, and it's a bit on the perfectionist side. I haven't done it in a long time because it is very time-consuming and I would just give up on it. I LOVE the idea of a more whimsical approach to drawing using a mixed media approach and combining it with a journal that tells a story. I have made journals with mixed media but it is mostly collage and mark making. When I saw the description of this course it hit all the points I wanted to do. I'm hoping to break. away6 from my rigid, exact, and realistic artwork, let go of my perfectionist self and learn to have FUN and to tell a story. Dori
