Karina Giada

Karina Giada is a visual artist currently based in California. At a young age, Karina channeled her love for fashion into her highly-detailed illustrations, a passion that grew to include delicate and intricate works focused on mythology and inspired by her travels. Moving every few years has enhanced her love for different cultures and have influence a great number of her works since her return from Italy. Entirely self-taught, she focuses primarily on women’s portraits, evoking a sense of victory and freedom in her subjects that demonstrate not only beauty in every woman but also their unbreakable nature.

In her personal work, Karina enjoys exploring mixed media illustrations, which include her beloved impasto gold paintings. Combining minimalism with her intricate designs, Karina molds her two passions to create evocative illustrations. She will soon move to Taiwan and cannot wait to see where the Eastern influences will take her creatively.
