Designer and Fron-End Developer Intern

Job Description

This position is part of the design department, in the Operations Team of Kapturall. The candidate will report to the Design Manager and work closely with her. The role is not client-facing, but it may be required to jump into a call with clients in specific occasions.

In this role, you will be working with the consultants to assist in the needs they identified in all our clients, proactively suggesting improvements, and delivering on time.

The ideal candidate needs to have a critical point of view, not only delivering what he/she is been asked for, for analyzing if the request makes sense and suggesting alternatives in case it doesn’t.

The Design team works for all the clients Kapturall has, being a dynamic and changing environment. The person working in this role needs to be able to work with different priorities and commit to deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Handle 2-4 Web Design projects at a time, under the supervision of the Design Manager.
- Proactively suggest improvements to our consultants in the projects they handle.
- Work closely with the various departments in Kapturall (IT, Consultants…) to guarantee a smooth development of projects.
- Understand briefing from clients and internal colleagues and able to explain to other audiences in an easy and comprehensive language.
- Daily tasks include website development in common CMS, creation of banners, edit email templates and landing page templates or assist in email creation.

Qualifications

- Experience is not required but Graphic Design experience is a plus.
- Front-End Developer graduate.
- CSS & HTML basic knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (specially JQuery) and its implementation in HTML.
- Used to work with responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap.
- Experience in creating functional Landing Pages and email templates.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, specially Wordpress.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator and Photoshop). Detailed oriented and with high quality standards.
- Experience working in Marketing agencies is a plus.
- A flexible, positive attitude with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- The ability to prioritize, organize, and balance short and long-term goals with a focus on the big picture.
