Jill Savory

I’ve been drawing and making art, like many of us, since I figured out I could make marks. Most of my memories from childhood revolve around the peace, safety, and solace I found only in creating and in what other’s created. I’m a proud wife and mom of 2, I make a living making art (linocut prints, painting, and ceramics) and teaching K-5th grade students art at a local public school. Children are little bits of wonder that make everything brighter - mix them up with some art supplies and magic happens. I’m currently illustrating my first book - a children’s book about all the wonderful things our little town has to offer. It has been a wonderful stretch and gotten me out of my comfort zone.
