I am a visual artist, designer, and founder of NIRO. Inspired by all things African, that evokes an aesthetic that is contemporary and feminine. Describing myself as only a designer is a little difficult. My artistic interests are vast and varied. Handcrafting was an attractive first choice because the mediums are organic and very close to nature. Working with stone, sisal, fabric, and wood infused with my ongoing obsession of color and contrast that is bright and contemporary whilst striking a balance between form and function is a dream come true.
