Grace LaForge

I am recently retired from teaching Art to teens for the past 20 years. I use many different media, but clay is my main love. I have a small studio and a little potters wheel and now, I teach ceramics to teens and adults in a local Art Center. I am the studio manager and love learning about he raw materials and history of ceramics. I also love calligraphy and bookmaking and made a pop-up book for my granddaughter during the pandemic, The person I studied bookmaking with is Brooklyn artist, Miriam Schaer. She opened up a whole new way of looking at books as containers for ideas. I was inspired so much by Silvia's methods to improve my pop-up skills! I look forward to working with your jewelry, ceramics and other artists.
