Maria Shrigley

Highly skilled art director with extensive hands on prop making experience. I’m a big fan of colour!

I grew up as an artist assistant (it’s in the blood) and after studying image styling for performance at London College of Fashion I went on to study Prop making (BA hons ) at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Whilst in my final year I gained a role as an art dept assistant on Danny Boyle’s channel 4 pilot Babylon and gained a real interest in the art department. I have had jobs working as a prop maker in theatre, film and for window display (John Lewis christmas Windows)

Alongside my studies I have also explored my interest in content creation and have become experienced in producing short form documentary and promotional content for platforms such as Dazed Digital and Boiler Room. Including general content creation for fashion brands -photography, Instagram/Facebook videos and visual merchandising.
