I would love to be 'good at art'. Your comments about being afraid to start because you know your first attempts will be rubbish, really struck a chord. I never seem to get past that point! I am determined now though to keep working on my knowledge and skills and keep churning out pieces that I am ok with until I begin to produce something I am actually happy with. I am a primary school teacher and love teaching art to young children. I encourage them to be creative and experimental and not to be put off if things don't go right. Time to listen to my own advice!
