My parents gave me a point and shoot camera in my late teens. Since then I kept carrying around cameras mostly during trips but it wasn't until 2019 when I picked up a crop sensor to learn how to shoot in manual mode. I had no clue what I had started.
Years and thousands of images later I have reached a point where I know I have to take the next step to advance. Have always used Lightroom to edit images. Have always been afraid of photoshop because every time I tried to use it it ended in frustration because I didn't know how to properly use it. I know getting into that is a another necessary step to move forward.
Otherwise I am still trying to figure out what to focus on in photography as there are so many "categories" of what one can do. Basically still exploring which means i haven't found my own style yet either. Pretty much still at the beginning of the journey and hope to find a mentor from whom I can learn.
