Guilherme Farkas

I have a degree in Film from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil). Act as sound designer (production sound mixer and post production) for audiovisual projects, working with sound from the script to the final mix. As a sound designer was selected to Berlinale Talents 2020 (Germany) and Talents Buenos Aires 2018 (Argentina). My most recent works premiered in festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, Rotterdam, Locarno, Visions du Réel, San Sebastian, among others. Received awards for best sound (Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife and Bienal Internacional do Cinema Sonoro - both in Brazil). In 2015 organized and curated the Sonoridade Cinema exhibition (Caixa Cultural do Rio de Janeiro - Brazil), about sound in contemporary cinema.
