Esther van Wageningen

As a child I always dreamed of being an illustrator. In high school we had to interview someone who had your dream profession. I interviewed an illustrator. She told me that it was quite a lonely job. that held me back, and I pursued other dreams. I did a lot of other stuff, had many different jobs, as an art therapist (drama and fine arts), play therapist, dramateacher, daycare worker, singer and mother. But in the last few years the love for illustrating came up again. Now I want to try to make a living out of it.
