Katya Kim

Katya Kim is an ethnic South Korean with dual nationality – Russian and Norwegian. She was born in 1995 on the largest Russian island – Sakhalin. Her fondness for letters began in kindergarten during handwriting lessons. From an early age, she loved reading all fairy tales, especially the works of H.C. Andersen. Books were and still are her way of escaping reality. After immigrating to Norway, she has struggled to find her place and identity. The inner critic within her prevents her from pursuing her dreams. She uses writing as a way to close many of her mental tabs.
