Ana Alves

I was born in Coimbra and currently live on Faial Island, in the Azores, where I balance the worlds of science and art. Through my project Doze Lápis, I dedicate myself to digital illustration, with my tablet becoming an atelier where imagination takes shape.

My artwork is defined by minimalist lines and an expressive visual language. I seek to capture those special moments that deserve to be preserved over time, inviting viewers to explore connections and recognize something of themselves in the stories I create.

Through my illustrations, I hope to inspire contemplation and empathy, in a constant search for the poetic within the simple and the silent.
