Since 1988 I have been working as a registered nurse. I trained in the UK, but have worked most of my career in Canada. I specialize in critical care/post anaesthesia recovery. Art and Science are perfect together, and drawing along with writing, has always been my go to for de-stressing. It provides an outlet of pure uninhibited self-expression.

All of my gift-giving cards since I was a teen, have been handmade in both art and verse.

A few months ago I started my first domestika course with Posca markers. I found it more engaging and difficult than I had first imagined-to create a beautiful textile-worthy design. I am almost finished that course, but really need to start yours. I have a mission to complete twelve or more drawings of tiny cottages near the lake in my home town. Most of them have been torn down for newer much larger-builds. This free-style of yours is perfect and not over-worked (which has been my nemesis).

I hope you can teach me the gift of knowing when to stop!
