This is a very engaging course. The advice on directional cutting of wood was very good. The instructor did use a straight knife like a potato peeler, which I think is dangerous. I'm sure she knew what she was doing but it could lead to a lot of badly cut thumbs if others have less skill.

Aprendi muito com este curso, não apenas a entalhar colheres mas, também, técnicas que podem ser utilizadas em outros entalhes de outros objetos. Ajudou me a entender a própria madeira e meus movimentos. Excelente curso e professora !

This was a great course. I've been woodworking for about a year, but never attempted any type of carving before. The way Andrea breaks everything down made me realize that this is something I can do, and I was surprised that I was able to make a spoon from a tree branch so easily. It really has me hooked, and I will be making more spoons in the future.

Very concise instructions and encouraging learning environment:) I’m really thankful for this course and Andrea since I’ve discovered a new hobby that I will keep practicing in the coming years. Highly recommend this course to anyone at any level interested in woodworking!
