I enjoy Jane's approach to crafting a short story. I love adding new tools to my writing toolbox.

The course was fantastic. I learned so much. But what I actually enjoyed most was watching Jane's brilliant mind create 10 different scenarios, characters or possibilities in minutes! It shows you just what's possible with a lot of practice and work. I wrote my story as I went through the course and I'm really quite chuffed with it. I'm looking forward to writing many more.

Jane was excellent and kind. The lessons were organized and helpful. She writes the story live with us following along. I've never seen anyone else brave enough to do that. Lots of great tips about writing short stories throughout. Highly recommend this class.

Jane has a distinct approach to teaching writing. I am currently juggling several writing training courses and a few of them are heavy on planning before one starts to write. This is the first course I am doing in which the trainer is scanty on planning and heavy on pantsing (as one book calls it).
I am not opposed to pantsing, so I am open to trying her techniques because I feel they just might work for me.
