His work is amazing, and he's a very good teacher. I would love to have seen more on his editing, I felt that it was cut short when he said "I'm going to continue to edit this one...." but then we didn't get to see the edit through the final stage, ready for delivery. That is my only gripe with the course. Highly recommend it for not only those interested in "headshots" but for any photographer who photographs people.

Clear. Concise. Was drawn in by his soothing voice, and am anxious to put into practice what I learned. Definitely challenged some long-held beliefs and now feel like I am on the proper road to find my own aesthetic.

This is a good course. The aims and objectives are established from the outset, with context and practical applications. The lessons progress logically and are progressive, helping you toward a concluding section where you can put what's learnt into practice confidently. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in making modern headshots

I relished this course for its simple practical advice, Phil's use of daylight, and his relaxed, sincere and quietly spoken teaching style. When I am trying to absorb and remember video content, I can do without the over-enthusiastic even hectoring style adopted by some gurus in the photography field.

Este curso aporta conocimientos y trucos sobre un estilo de retrato que va más allá de lo estético y las modas. Se ofrecen consejos ahondando en lo que implica retratar a una persona que no conoces y de la que debes obtener una imagen que lo represente en su esencia. También incluye consejos sobre iluminación con luz natural. Muy recomendable.

Phil es un gran fotógrafo y es un plus que enseñe como editar las fotografías. Me ha gustado mucho.
