This is one of the best courses on writing I have ever done. Piers is a wonderful teacher, talented, experienced and knowledgeable. Explanations are deeply patient, kind, and informative. As a former art teacher, I highly recommend this creative and fascinating course.

so far it is a wonderful course. I haven't had the time to finish it, but so far is brilliant, it goes way far more then just children's books essentials.

Surprisingly enough, the content shared here goes well beyond being "merely" for children's books. Extremely helpful and relevant for writers of all kinds, although most likely it will appeal mostly to novelists, short story authors, and screenwriters. Hands down, one of the best courses for writers here on Domestika.

A well thought out and simply presented course. Easy to follow with practical actions to take. I found the sections on the mental obstacles which can stop us writing especially helpful at this point. A really fantastic price for something which costs hundreds more elsewhere. Thank you Piers and Domestika.

Excelente curso

Piers is such a fantastic writer that his knowledge shines through. The video instruction is clear and well paced. The course structure is logical and the assignments challenge the student to push themselves. This is a course that motivates.

I really enjoyed Piers classes.
With simple videos, he can give you a full picture of what you’ll face while writing a novel: challenges, ways of surpassing them and personal rewards.
He is a nice guy and often comments on the Forum posts, which is the thing I appreciated the most since in general these courses are quite impersonal (just you, a video and some homework to do).
I suggest to include a video on the language for children books and differences from adults’ books.

This course is a very good guide to organizing creative ideas. Following along and working my story in his method has really transformed my loose ideas into the beginning of a novel. It’s a good process.
