Sketchbook botanico: un approccio meditativo

I loved this Course by M. Lapin. His approach was opposite of what I had been taught for botanical drawing. It made my florals and succulents, bolder looking and defined.

Feedback from friends and family, was that my new artwork looked more interesting, with more personality.

The class was everything I wanted and with better results than I expected. I enjoyed the journey and the end results.

What a beautiful walkthrough, I felt empowered every step of the way. I didn't always have plants on hand so I used the one he was using and it would have been nice if that alway stayed on the screen but it was still a fantastic course. I will take more with him!

I’m definitely motivated to pull out my sketchbooks and step into nature to practise drawing, observation and mindfulness. 🪴✨

Enjoying the course and Lapin's relaxed and calm presentation. I appreciate the first steps where he has students do simple sketches with a thicker pen to understand basic structures of the plants and not get bogged down in details from the start. It's also a pleasure to see his very excellent work and be inspired to attain greater proficiency in our own work.

Very interesting to see Lapin‘s aproach. If you want you easily get into the promised meditative flow. And you learn a lot about thechnique.

Interesting approach to drawing, but didn’t help my drawing skills! I had hoped it would show me how to draw botanic subjects better. Perhaps the description needs modifying. I enjoyed the approach and thought the lecturer was good.

I'm enjoying the course. I did not complete it yet, but it teaches techniques, and it is meditative and helps you create a structure to continue creating your botanic sketches. I recommend it.

Extra ! On apprend et on s’apaise !

I am enjoying the course, but for me it is a scary exercise! It is very different for me, and to draw straight away in pen is something very new to me. I like the meditative approach, and to meet the challenge I will need to take this slowly at each step. I am feeling the peace as I do it and I like being away from phone interruptions.

Lapin propone un ritmo lento e rilassante per connettersi con la natura e con sé stessi. Lezioni dettagliate, con molti spunti e proposte!!
