Not one of the best courses on Domestica (some incorrect use of terms and IMHO not too much creativity in here), but it will teach you one way of working with acrylic markers (James Chapman only mentions Posca's, other brands will work fine too).

Fun and playful, James goes through his whole process to create his artworks. I also like how he works with a couple of colors only. Also appreciate that he goes about printing and sharing your work, so I do recommend this course as something fun and enjoyable to follow.

I really liked this course.
It's really pleasant to watch James explain all this, and his work is really cool.
The course content is quite specific to his process, a bit more than I had expected, but it was actually quite interesting to see how he works and I did learn along the way.

James goes over everything you will need to get started using paint markers for your sketches or art work. The details on color are really good because you can get into a dilemma when only working with two or three colors. His techniques to solve that puzzle are great. The ideas on contrast, lighting, and breaking things up in the piece so certain things stand out or have a space of their own is valuable to improve your artwork. Printing and sharing work is also covered. Overall great work.

I've been following James on Instagram for a while, this course is a great window into his creative process.

I hope you give another course with posca markers. The explanation and exercise are nice to do and you’re learning a lot.

I enjoyed this course. I worked through thumb nailing seriously for the first time, and I really appreciate how important this is with a limited color palette. Because of his commitment to theme I committed to a theme and found great enjoyment in doing so. I wish I learned more about the editing process and how to not get so much resistance from the nib of the Posca pens. More technical detail would be welcome in the future.
